Before you ask

Do I need a real piano?

Yes — Survibe teaches you on a real instrument, acoustic or digital. It won't turn the iPad screen into the keyboard, because playing on glass doesn't build the touch you need on real keys.

Does it work with a digital piano over MIDI?

Mic listening works on everything and needs no setup, so that's the default. If your digital piano has USB-MIDI, you'll be able to plug it in for tighter timing accuracy.

I've never touched a piano. Is this for me?

Especially for you. Survibe starts from where middle C is and builds up. There's no sight-reading prerequisite — the notation comes in gradually, once it's useful to you.

When does it launch, and what will it cost?

The first version lands on iPad soon. Waitlist members get in first, and the first 500 get it free at launch. Pricing after that isn't locked yet — we'll tell you before we charge you anything.

Is my microphone audio sent anywhere?

Note detection runs on the device. Audio isn't uploaded or stored — we only keep which notes you hit and missed, so your practice history survives a reinstall.
